Bodega Hidalgo wines from Extremadura
Bodega Hidalgo produces its wines in Bienvenida (Badajoz), in the Matanegra area, a part of Extremadura with a long-standing winemaking tradition. The grapes come from vineyards in this area and are used to produce a range of wines suited to different tastes and occasions.
Among the grape varieties used by the winery is Tempranillo, which features in its red wines, alongside Macabeo for white and sweet wines. Traditional varieties such as Pardina and Cayetana are also used in some of its white wines, while a combination of Tempranillo and Macabeo is used to produce its rosé wines.
